Does anyone make a network link tester that will pull a DHCP IP address?

I have a linkcheck from smartronix but it only tells me if a drop is hot. I would like a small tool to pull an IP so I know the VLAN the drop is on so I don't have to carry around a laptop. I know Fluke makes a $500+ model but I was looking for somthing cheaper
