Having watched an interesting video on TED.COM about the dangers to Earth from rogue asteroids.?

I asked here on Yahoo answers if it was possible to land on them and to use resonating frequency to break up rock, both questions seem to suggest that it will be possible. Does anyone know if NASA has any such plans?
