Would it bother a guy if...?

Does it matter to guys if a girl is much more quiet/shy than him, has less friends, and generally less of a life than him? Would this deter him from asking out a girl he likes who has a lot in common with him, etc.? So basically does social status matter or do guys not care about that if the girl's personality is amazing and he's interested?
