Cancer question here. I will be going in for a hystorecomy very soon as my sister

phoned the hospital today and the registrarr is going to phone me tomorrow night and get me booked in for a operation which I will dread. so at last everyone, and this is for ovarian cancer. Last night I was getting a lot of cramps in my lower abdomen and more clotting(bleeding) and yes I look about 6 months pregnant. so to any ladies out there who have had a hystorecomy is it painfull after you wake up and how long will you be in pain for? I need to know this as I am getting nervous. I have finally agreed for them to take out my cancer even though it has spread, and I know the out come and I have agreed to go through chemo too. It will prolong my life not cure it like I have been told. anyway ladies what was your hystorecomy like? I need to know what to expect here. I know this will be all explined to me when I go in but for now I need to know. Much appreciated.
